‘In Perfect Harmony’ aims to not only question the concept of religion, but to question society’s treatment and unwavering devotion to it at the expense of other individuals or groups. The theme of Vanitas is recurring throughout the book in the chapter dividers to represent the six most popular and different religions. The main copy in the book was taken directly from different Reddit forum posts and threads that discussed religion, working to reveal religious cyber-bullying and differences in beliefs.
